Niner Book Review

Our class just finished reading the book Niner, written by Theresa Martin Golding. This book is about a girl named Macey, who has nine fingers and whose grandma thought her dad didn't want her. From burglars, gangsters, drug dealers and all sorts of bad guys, this book is full of excitement. Macey finds out her dad is leading another life and keeping secrets from her. You will have to read to find out what happens from there. We all really liked this book because it was adventerous awesome, cool, spectactular and amazing! We think you should read this book for yourself, it will knock your socks off!

Is That a Dead Dog in Your Locker?

Ms. Kramer's group just finished reading the book, Is That a Dead Dog in Your Locker?, written by Todd Strasser. Everyone in our group really liked this book because it was funny, disgusting, goofy and it had weird characters like Al-Ian, Wade, Leyton, Daisy, Fibby, Barton, Mr. Roy and the principals. This book taught us some very interesting stuff about French cheese, toe cheese and yucky smells that make people faint!!! One of us thought the book drug on a little bit, but overall we all thought it was a pretty good book. If you like funny, weird books, this book is for you! Plus, there are more books in the series, starting with, Is That a Sick Cat in Your Backpack?.
